What’s it all about?
Who knew this of-the-moment cocktail dated all the way back to the 1870s in Wisconsin? The ever reliable and much maligned drink has made a big come back in Europe over the last decade, and what’s not to love about this tangy punchy way to drink ENVY Whisky.
What’s in it?
50ml ENVY Whisky
Juice of one fresh lemon
35ml Simple sugar syrup
Dash of egg white or pineapple juice (optional)
How to make it:
Shake all ingredients with ice, then strain into an ice-filled old-fashioned glass and service with plenty of ice. Garnish with lemon rind and a sugared glass.
